Right now, you’re probably asking yourself two things:
Who am I?
And, what the hell are you doing here?
Let’s start with the most obvious question, shall we?
You’re here, ladies, because you can’t f*ck.
Oh, stop it. Don’t cringe. No one under the age of 80 clutches their pearls.
You might as well get used to it, because for the next six weeks, you’re going to hear that word a lot. And you’re going to say it a lot.
Go ahead, try it out on your tongue.
F*ck. F***ck.

Ok, good. Now where were we?
If you enrolled yourself in this program then you are wholly aware that you’re a lousy lay. Good for you. Admitting it is half the battle.

For those of you that have been sent here by your husband or significant other, dry your tears and get over it. You’ve been given a gift, ladies. The gift of mind-blowing, wall-climbing, multiple-orgasm-inducing sex. You have the opportunity to f*ck like a porn star. And I guarantee, you will when I’m done with you.
And who am I?

Well, for the next six weeks, I will be your lover, your teacher, your best friend, and your worst enemy. Your every-f*cking-thing. I’m the one who is going to save your relationship and your sex life.

I am Justice Drake.
And I turn housewives into whores.
Now…who’s first?

Prologue

Taken: Year Three

Allysan Miller stood in the holding tank with the other women in the belly of the Loconuist vessel. On high alert—she was always on high alert—she scanned her surroundings.

This isn’t good.

It never was when the Loconuist corralled them in here. It meant that soon the double doors would open and some other alien species would come through and pick out which humans they wanted, and take them away.

Everyone thought the Loconuist were ugly, but some of the things that passed through the doors were horrific in comparison. But regardless of looks, no one ever wanted to leave with the aliens who passed through because of the unknown factor. Living on the Loconuist vessel was bad, but at least there was food and water, and the Loconuist themselves rarely bothered with them.

Ally looked through the crowd of frightened and confused women. Their numbers were steadily dropping.

How many of us are left? Seven hundred—maybe?

They meandered about, everyone on edge. Loved ones and friends stuck together, clutching each other. If there was going to be a “taking”, as everyone had begun to call it, by other aliens, it was best to try to go together.

It had been roughly three years since the invasion on Earth, since Ally had been trapped on the Loconuist vessel.

Three.

Long.

Years.

It was only natural that many of the prisoners had developed close bonds with each other, after all they’d been through. Seen. Done. They’d bonded under the worst possible circumstances. Some bonds had been forged here, others prior to the invasion on Earth.

The thought of Earth seemed like a distant memory. Almost as if the time before now never existed.

A dream.

Ally shook the invading thought from her head. Bringing up old memories would only serve to make her sad. There was no time for sadness right now. She kept her eyes focused on her surroundings, alert for anything out of place. Not all aliens stomped through the holding bay during a taking. No, some were sneakier than that. Some would mimic humans, observing before making their selections.

Everyone had a look of panic on their faces. No one seemed suspicious. They all anxiously waited to learn their fate.

What’s taking them so long to come?

Usually when the women were corralled, the taking took place soon after. But now, the minutes ticked by slowly. As time went on, the noise from the women became louder, more unbearable. There was crying, praying, shouting, talking and whispering all around.

There was no point in trying to block out the sounds. The walls echoed and voices projected.

“I wish they’d get it over with already,” Ally said.

“Me too.” Eva, her best friend, was by her side. She was a petite woman, but a force to be reckoned with. She stood about five-foot-four and weighed no more than a hundred pounds. When they first met, Eva’s black hair had been cropped short, but over the years it had grown and now fell to the middle of her back. On first glance, she could easily be mistaken for a teenager, and not her thirty-plus years.

Ally was as different from Eva as night was to day. Because of the lack of sunlight, both had pale skin, but Eva’s was still a lot darker than hers. Eva had been given up when she was young and didn’t know her heritage. She thought maybe she was mixed, African-American and Caucasian, or perhaps American Indian.

Ally was taller, standing five-foot-seven. Her blonde hair had always been full, long and wavy, but now appeared thin because of a lack of proper nutrition. And while Eva had crisp blue eyes, the kind you could never forget, Ally’s were a dull light blue—not memorable at all.

They came from two different worlds. Eva had worked hard for everything she had, while once upon a time, Ally had doting parents and a husband who’d made sure all her needs were met. She hadn’t been spoiled or anything. She had gotten good grades in high school, had gone to a decent college and gotten her dream job as a computer programmer at a Fortune 500 company. She’d never wanted for anything—not like Eva had when she was growing up.

No matter their differences, they were best friends and they stuck by each other, especially during times like these—they didn’t want to be separated during a taking. They’d seen families ripped apart. That wouldn’t happen with them. Eva was a kick-ass martial artist and Ally had spent the last few years training under her direction. She had lost her plump frame a long time ago. The hours she used to spend sitting in front of a computer developing programs were now spent sparring with Eva. Ally knew she couldn’t fight as well as her friend, but she also knew enough to leave her mark on anyone—anything that tried to take her.

“So what do you think will happen when there are no more buyers? Do you think the Loconuist will keep us?”

Eva kept her eyes fixed on the doors. “I really don’t think that’s an option. They’ll get rid of us. Eventually.”

“I hate feeling like we’re in a pet shop.”

Eva nodded. “You and me both.”

“I’m not going to be anyone’s pet willingly,” Ally growled. The sound vibrated in her chest.

Eva sighed, probably feeling just as frustrated as Ally. They’d been trapped on the vessel for three years. The first taking had been a chaotic, emotional mess. The Loconuist had rounded up everyone, ushering them from the common living areas to multiple rooms much like the one they stood in now. Not only had there still been men onboard at that time, but children as well.

Jim, her husband, had died just before that first taking. It hadn’t been the result of anything the Loconuist had done—or hadn’t done. But she hated them just the same. He’d died in his sleep. He’d been very sick since before the invasion, so she’d been expecting it, but it hadn’t made losing the love of her life any less painful.

“What’s the plan with this round? Are we going to try to get picked or try to stay here?” Ally asked.

“I don’t know if I’m ready to leave the ship yet. I vote that if they try to take us, we fight and stick together. Same as always.”

“Right. And if we get separated?”

“We won’t,” she said matter-of-factly.

We can’t.

Just as Ally finished that thought, the sirens sounded to alert them that the doors were opening. The voices in the room quieted to small whimpers. Ally stiffened and Eva became instantly alert. They both had their eyes trained on the doors, waiting to see what would come through.

Chapter 1

(Valerie)

The wind rushed around me as I stood on the balcony and looked out at downtown Seattle. From my apartment on the sixteenth floor, I could see the space needle and the lights glittering on as the sun set over the Puget Sound. I’d always wanted to live by water. I took in a lungful of air. It was different than the mountain air I was used to in Denver. In this breath, I could taste the sea.

I smiled. I’d never set foot in the city before today, but I could already tell I was going to love it. The opportunities seemed endless and I felt freer than ever before to pursue them. That was especially true because I wasn’t working and had a ton of time on my hands. Unfortunately, I’d given up on most of my hobbies and extra-curricular activities in order to climb the ladder. I was a self-professed workaholic, and, so far, I liked it that way.

Being that I’d given up most social obligations, I didn’t have many friends. There were maybe two or three in Denver, but they had families and their own lives, so we didn’t see each other often. In Seattle, I had one friend—one—and I’d only known him for two months, and only because of my job connections.

In Denver, I’d worked for Trinity Advertising Corp. They were a medium-sized company, but slowly gaining popularity and clout. My problem had been that I wasn’t gaining enough ground for comfort. I was too ambitious to enjoy a stagnant life. This move was about climbing further and becoming more than I’d been before. At Trinity, I’d hit the dreaded glass ceiling and moving on became my top priority. That’s why I had gone to Seattle, on the recommendation of a man who barely knew me.

Chuck had recommended me to his boss for a position as Senior Executive of Design Production. That meant I was going to be overseeing several Art Directors, who in turn oversaw the teams which produced the company’s biggest projects. I badly wanted the job and I damned sure deserved it. Because I’d put so much of myself into making every line on my resume count, I was confident. Maybe overly so, since I’d moved to Seattle before I even landed the position. My plan-b was to apply at the other ad agencies if that job fell through. Anything was better than Trinity, right?

I turned back into the apartment and slid the glass door closed. The emptiness seemed bigger than any sound I could possibly make, but nevertheless, I found the box labeled “sound system” and unpacked my iPod docking station and set it up on the floor. I looked up my eighties mix and suddenly the apartment was filled with Billy Idol’s voice, from the hardwoods to the beams of the vaulted ceiling.

I smiled, dropped onto my butt in the middle of the boxes and began making the empty rooms into a home. After just a few hours, the kitchen and bathroom were completely unpacked. I estimated that

Break time, I thought, wandering into the kitchen. I rinsed out a dusty wineglass and uncorked a year-old bottle of Prosecco. While I leaned on the high granite-top breakfast bar, I felt the evil stab of loneliness convict me of sucking at life. I wished I had someone who I could share this experience with. It would be fun to listen to Madonna and drink with a friend.

It could have been the wine hitting my empty stomach, but I was called to action by a voice in my head saying ‘That’s enough!’ The voice was right. It was time to branch out, meet new people, form relationships—and maybe even find a man. God, I need to get laid, I thought, refilling my glass. I clutched the drink with both hands, bringing it to my lips—Oh, yes, my friend wine. … Reveal to me what I should do with my life.

Claire gasped as the door burst open. JT jumped up and moved in front of her.

A man stood and stared, one hand on the doorknob and the other at his belt buckle. “Oops, sorry.” He grinned at JT. “Nice job, man.”

“Get out.” JT forced the words between his teeth.

The guy backed up and closed the door.

Claire’s heart hammered in her chest. Caught! That man had seen JT licking her… he’d seen her spread legs and everything in between. “Oh God.” The room spun and JT caught her as she teetered off the counter.

“Are you okay?” He pulled her close.

“I don’t know.” A stranger had seen her in a most vulnerable position. She should be shocked and appalled, humiliated or embarrassed. But a hint of pride and secret excitement fluttered in her lower abs. She retrieved her discarded panties, and JT helped her tug them over her boots. She pulled her skirt down then turned and splashed cool water on her face while he adjusted his pants. “Holy shit.” I’m swearing?

“Yeah.” He ran a hand through his tousled hair. “I forgot to lock the door. I’m so sorry.”

She shrugged. “I forgot too.”

He raised an eyebrow as he studied her face in the mirror.

She glanced down at the counter, trying to hide her eyes from his penetrating gaze.

“You are a bad, bad girl.”

Chapter 1

“I walked in on them, mom. You think I don’t know what my own fiancé looks like?” The thought of her fiancé and sister’s naked bodies intertwined was seared on Lily’s mind. It was almost like looking in a mirror— watching her twin sister, Dahlia, betray her with the man she loved. The man she was ready to pledge her life to.

“Well, you know how your sister is, it could’ve been anyone,” her mom replies.

“But it wasn’t just anyone. It was Jack, and on the night before we’re supposed to get married!”

“Darling,” her mother says, patting her head like a two-year old child who just dropped her lollipop. “You can still get married. It’s not too late. Men are all the same— it’s time you learn that.”

Lily looks up from her pillow at her mother and around her room, still the same since she went away to boarding school eleven years ago. Pink and purple with a large, canopy bed, a bed “fit for a princess,” her mother had always said. And for all intents and purposes she was a princess, living a privileged life in New York City— the best schools, the right friends, and the (former) perfect fiancé.

“What are you saying, mother? That it’s ok for Jack to screw anyone he wants?”

“Oh, honey. Men have needs. It’s pure biology. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t make a good husband and father.”

“Are you saying Dad cheated on you?” Lily sits up, wiping away her tears.

Her mother turns away for a moment and picks up a family photo on the nightstand. “It’s the unspoken rule here on the Upper East Side, Lily. With the house in the Hamptons and the chalet in Aspen comes infidelity. I thought you’d had some clue. But it’s my fault. I’ve kept you sheltered because I hoped for a different life for you than mine.”

“But why didn’t you tell me sooner? I never imagined Jack would cheat on me.” Lily falls back onto the bed.

Her mother faces her and raises an eyebrow. “Jack is no different from his father. His family has a lot of money and influence in this city. Even more than we do. Our two families would make an incredible alliance.”

“So that’s all this was to you, some sick power game?”

“Marriage is business, Lily, not love. And in New York, power isn’t just about how much money you have, but the friends you can count in your corner. You want love, go have your own affairs. After what he’s done, Jack can’t expect fidelity. Just try to be more discreet than he was.”

“But it was love. I’ve loved him since the first day I laid eyes on him,” Lily says, remembering how he offered to share his umbrella with her when they walked out of Intermediate French one afternoon.

Her mother caresses her hair. “I know honey. That was your first mistake.”

Karen Patton’s life is falling apart. She signed divorce papers, quit her job, and moved back to her hometown into an apartment that couldn’t feel less like home. With two weeks of free time before she starts work at the Half Moon Bay Public Library, she’s crawling the walls, trying desperately not to miss the man who chose his career over her.

When an old college friend invites her to Italy for an impromptu wedding, she jumps at the chance to focus on something other than her own misery.

Tate Patton is doing his best to ignore the divorce papers that just landed on his desk. A rational, reasonable man would sign and be done with it. Instead, he seizes upon a wedding invitation to do something completely impetuous—ignore the papers and fly to Rome.

When they lay eyes on each other, the sparks fly as hot as the first time they met. Maybe the more mature versions of themselves can fix what’s broken. Their love is too strong not to try…

Excerpt

Karen had forgotten how vibrant the city was, especially the narrow, sloping alleys that made up the Trastevere rione where she’d gone to college and where Valentina and Gio still lived.

Karen had always loved it here. The rush of cars at a breakneck speed they’d never dare in America, the mass of people from all over the world who’d come to visit, the historic architecture, museums, and monuments. She dragged in a breath…and the tantalizing aroma of Italian food hit her nose. There was a restaurant on the bottom floor of Gio and Valentina’s building. Karen’s mouth watered, her stomach growled, and she was forcefully reminded that it would be breakfast time if she were in California. A nine hour time difference could really mess a body up.

Her old friends lived on the top floor, so Karen had stepped outside on the balcony to escape the wedding preparation madness. She was fairly certain every single female relative of Valentina’s had managed to cram themselves into the apartment. And they were loud and boisterous and happy. But mostly loud. Propping her elbows on the railing, Karen looked out over the skyline. A thousand different levels of rooflines, a few cathedral duomos, and she could just see the Vatican peeking between some of the buildings. So different from what she was used to.

A wave of laughter spilled out of the apartment, and she glanced back with a grin. They were a nice family—one who’d welcomed her for every holiday during the year she’d spent in Rome. Glancing at her watch, she saw it was well past time when she could check into her hotel.

It took her another half an hour to say goodbye to everyone because they all insisted on a hug and a kiss from her, told her how beautiful she was, how much they liked her new hairstyle, insisted she come back and join them for dinner. Finally, Valentina laughed, grabbed Karen’s elbow and thrust her out the door or she might never have escaped. She was still grinning when she hit the bottom of the staircase and entered the lobby.

And slammed into someone trying to go up the stairs. She stumbled back, an apology on her lips, but it never formed as her gaze collided with her soon-to-be-ex-husband’s.

“Tate,” she said faintly, falling back another step. “Wh-what are you doing here?”

The flash of utter shock on his face told her he’d had no idea they would both be in Rome either. He cleared his throat and shrugged. “The same thing you are, I’d imagine. Attending an old friend’s wedding.”

There was no way he’d had any more notice on the invitation than she’d had, which meant he’d done something spontaneous for the first time in years. She crossed her arms. “You dropped everything, just like that? You?”

He snorted. “Got one too many calls from Dad the night Gio invited me, so I ran away from home.”

The mere glimmer of a smile crossed her lips. “About time.”

Shaking his head, he huffed out a laugh. His gaze flitted over her. “You changed your hair.”

“Yes.” She flicked the tips with her fingers. “A new look to start my new life. I like it.”

He winced. She tried not to cringe because, really, she hadn’t meant to rub his face in it. It was just the standard response she’d come up with every time someone asked why she’d cut it.

Then there was an awkward moment where she had no idea what to say. She hadn’t expected to see him, didn’t have a list of banal conversational topics ready to save her from uncomfortable silences. “Uh…okay.” She glanced aside. “I need to go check in to my hotel. I, um, guess I’ll see you at dinner tonight.”

“Yes.” He let her get halfway across the lobby before he called out. “Out of curiosity, which hotel are you staying at?”

“The Gianicolo.”

“Me too.” An ironic smile tilted up one corner of his mouth. “Giovanni recommended it to you too, huh?”

She pressed the tips of her fingers against her temple and rubbed at the building pain. “I may have to murder him.”

“Not if I beat you to it.” A muscle ticked in his jaw, and he waved her off. “See you at dinner.”

“Bye.”

Then they went their separate ways. As usual.

Study the sensual art of tantric sex as Alex creates her own style of silk and lace female dominance.

This little tryst will never survive past college–but Alex is determined to enjoy it the fullest while it lasts.

 Excerpt

We spent the next several weeks until the end of the semester continuing our naughty little tryst on the afternoons after class. We would disappear to my house four days a week and play for hours. I had turned into the instructor and Mason my willing and eager student. And as time went by, he stayed later and later, under the guise of studying. At least until mid-May, when he mentioned to Max that he had played on his high school baseball team as catcher also. After that, Max was sold. As soon as he’d come home after school, he’d have Mason outside practicing. It wasn’t long before Max had invited him to watch his practices which, of course, led to Saturday morning games.

Lisa and Kim had gotten used to his presence and had stopped teasing me about my beanie boy, at least when he was around. However, the other moms . . . they were a problem. It was bad enough, in general, I was an easy ten years younger than the vast majority of them. Most were successful career women or die-hard stay at home moms. They viewed Lisa and me as social pariahs and a threat to their happy little lives. The married ones felt threatened that we’d flirt with their husbands and the divorced crones hated us for having something akin to a social life. The sidelines at any junior league sporting event reminded me of being back in high school it was so cliquey.

And the majority of these women were vicious. If their husbands so much as spoke to us, their claws came out. It was common to see any one of these women casually waltz over to her husband’s side, place a hand on his arm—a clear claim of ownership, and smile through her fangs as a warning. It was pathetic how sad these women were. They might as well pee a little circle all around their husbands cause that was exactly what they were doing.  And the divorced ones were even worse. They truly considered us their competition if not their enemy.  They envied our energy and our age. There was an invisible line drawn on every set of bleachers regardless of the sport.

Now, they wanted to begrudge me Mason. I could hear the whispers behind my back about his age, how they called me a cougar when they thought I couldn’t hear them, or the looks of disapproval they would glare at me whenever I looked their direction. I knew they were jealous. There was no way in hell these ladies could ever have a twenty-one year old cabana boy as sexy as Mason.

And it didn’t take long for word to spread. Memorial weekend, I was getting breakfast ready while the boys, Mason included, were playing X-box when my cell phone rang.

“Hello,” I answered without looking first at the number and immediately regretting it.

“Good morning, doll. How are you?” A familiar voice greeted me.

“What do you want Danny?” Annoyance immediately took over. “You know I got Max a cell phone so we don’t have to have these pleasant conversations.”

“I called to talk to you. I have been hearing some interesting things about you lately and I was curious. After all, I am concerned about my boys.”

“Good grief, Danny. What do you want?” I flipped the blueberry pancakes and leaned against the counter.

“I heard you were having a naughty little affair with the paper boy,” he said, trying not to laugh.

“What? Who told you that?” That was the very last thing I expected to come out of his mouth.

“A little birdie told me.”

“Imagine that.” Max must have told him about Mason helping him with baseball and how much time he was spending over here, even after our class was done.

“So, how old is this kid anyway?”

“What I do or who I do is none of your business, Danny.” I tapped my fingers on the counter.

“It’s my business when he’s spending so much time with my sons,” he countered.

“You gave up that right when you gave me sole custody and decided to move across the country. You have no right to say anything about what I do. I would never do anything inappropriate around them, in front of them, or anywhere near them. You know I wouldn’t. Don’t you give me any shit. God only knows what you’re doing down there.” I walked out onto the back deck so no one would hear me.

“Geez, Alex, don’t get your panties in a bunch. I was just teasing you.” He laughed. “Seriously, though, how old is this kid?”

“That’s none of your damn business.” He’s such an ass.

“Oh come on, I’m only playing. What happened to your sense of humor? You used to have one.” He chuckled.

“I don’t know, maybe it went away when my low-life of a husband cheated on me?” I stated flatly.

“Ouch, you might want to get that checked soon. Alex, or you could turn into a real bitter bitch.” His laughter made me wish I could slap him across his smug face.

“I’m hanging up now.”

“Wait, Alex. Seriously, Max told me you were happy.” His laughter died away. “He said you try to play off that you two are only friends but he knows there’s something going on between you two. He said he can tell by the way Mason looks at you that he’s in love with you.”

“Max told you that?” I turned around and looked at my back door half expecting Mason or Max to be standing there.

“Yes, he told me that last night. So why are you trying to hide your relationship from the boys? You obviously like this man,” Danny inquired.

“Jesus, Danny. Really? Why do you think? Mason is younger than me.” I sighed audibly. “Okay, a lot younger than me. He’s twenty-one.” I closed my eyes and waited for that to sink in.

“Good Lord, Alex. He’s a child! What the hell are you thinking?” He laughed again. “When Max said younger than you, I was thinking he was twenty-six or twenty-eight, not twenty-one!”

“It’s just a fling, Danny. That’s all.”

“Does he know that?”

“I don’t know,” I answered honestly.

“You may want to tell him before this kid gets too attached to you or the boys to him,” he pointed out. I hated him for actually acting like the responsible adult when I should have been.

“I know,” I whispered. “I will.”

Excerpt

Eventually, she’d resigned herself to the fact that men didn’t really want or desire her. They preferred women with trimmer bodies, who were uninhibited, and more sexually inclined. That realization had hurt like a bitch. She may not have been a modern day Aphrodite but at least she was a good person. Smart, sensible, practical, hardworking, unselfish. Relatively average, if not attractive. She gave all she could to her mom, her job. It was enough, right?

But evidently such qualities did not give men erections. As a result, her sex life was non-existent. She’d learned to channel those energies into her work instead. And besides, the idea of sexual exploration and experimentation sounded exhausting and time consuming. Who the hell had the time in a 24/7 world anyway?

Yeah, her sexual experiences were limited for this assignment. But her experience in her job was not and therefore she would not allow her biases to dictate the outcome. After all, she was a professional.

About the Author
Bella Ross wrote her first book (a novel) at eighteen a la Jackie Collins. But back then, unbeknownst to her, life was about to take her on a detour. As she set off on her new course, her dream of writing took a backseat and her entrepreneurial spirit flourished instead. But after many years of worldly pursuits, the urge to write returned.
With her love of travel, it is no surprise that her ‘Wanderlust Series’ & ‘Club Pluto Series’ take place in glamorous capitals or exotic locales around the world. Its the perfect backdrop/setting for her characters to explore and indulge their lusts and passions, loves and desires.

(from Chapter Three)

Straddling his waist, she wrapped her arms around his neck. With pure need to touch her, to be closer to her, he crushed his mouth against hers. Kissing her swiftly and passionately, his tongue pulled at those lovely desires of hers.

By the time he stopped kissing her, his body was tense and greedy to take this woman deeper into pleasure. She melted under his lips and gave herself over to him beautifully. He bit back the need to demand more.

Leaving his fingers tangled in the back of her fishtail braid, he stared into her hooded eyes. He had to be cautious with her, though that didn’t mean through his testing of her he couldn’t offer her pleasure.

If she ended up being the submissive, and he thought she could be, he didn’t intend for her to go home alone tonight. If she wasn’t capable of going deeper into his erotic world, then he’d only have kissed her, and what was the harm in that?

“Put your feet flat next to my legs.” Once she complied, her knees pressed tightly together in front of his chest, he ran his hands down the smooth sides of her thighs. “Spread those legs, Ella. I want to touch you.” At her pause, he arched a brow. “Does that make your nervous?”

“No, of course not.” She rolled her eyes. “I’m always in the habit of spreading my legs for men in public.”

He chuckled. Sweet and sassy, very nice.

Holding her gaze, he offered her another test. “Can you push past those nerves knowing that I’ll give you pleasure?”

She glanced over his shoulder and her eyebrows rose. She’d clearly noticed the party was still in full swing, considering the music from the band drifted along the warm air. She’d likely also realized that they weren’t all that far away, either. People could easily see them.

Ella shivered, telling Kyler she liked the idea.

She was a little kinky.

When her smoldering gaze returned to his, she said softly, “I’ve never done this before.”

“Done what?”

“Had someone touch me in public”—her cheeks blushed bright red—“or really had sex with anyone I wasn’t dating.”

He leaned back, watching her closely. He’d placed the distance between them to teach her how this worked. He wouldn’t go further if she didn’t comply. “Well, this is my first time wanting to touch a woman on a boat dock.” He grinned at yet another blush of her cheeks. “Besides, I don’t believe I said I wanted to have sex with you. I said I wanted to touch you.”

You shouldn’t mix business with pleasure.
Yet pleasure seems to be the one and only thing on Charlize’s mind the moment Connor steamrolls into her life. Desperate to save her family company, prove she’s more than a pretty face and worthy of being CEO, pleasure is a distraction she can’t afford.
She doesn’t want a bodyguard, especially not one whose caveman heroics kick her libido into hyperdrive. But surrounded by enemies and an attacker on the loose, there’s only one man she can trust with her life.
Connor knows better than to get personal with clients. Yet there couldn’t be anything more personal about his feelings for Charlize. From the moment he clapped eyes on her he wanted nothing more than to throw her over his shoulder and really give her something to scream about. He’ll get his uptight she-cat to unwind, preferably one orgasm at a time.
With Connor in her office, her home, driving her to sweet, merciless distraction, there’s only so long Charlize can resist his sexy, dominant brand of protection
EXCERPT
They made use of her mostly empty living room for training, standing barefoot in the middle of the room. Charlize glanced at the hardwood floor.
“Wouldn’t this be safer on the rug?”
“We won’t be doing throws today,” he said and circled her, walked around her three times.
She refused to turn her head and follow him.
“Here’s how it’s going to work. I’m going to show you a dozen simple techniques. At the end I’m going to test you.”
She frowned. “Like a quiz?”
“No, like a challenge. We see what you’ve remembered. Get you to think on your feet, force you to think quickly and react fast.” He stopped in front of her. “If you pass the challenge, you win—and trust me, you want to win.”
Charlize folded her arms and tried not to look as if she caught the suggestion in his tone. “We’ve played this game before. If you want to prove you’re bigger, stronger and better at this Karate crap than I am, then I concede—you’re better.”
He grinned a devilish smile that reminded her just how quickly he could make her heart race. “This is a new game. All you have to do is prove you were paying attention. It’s not a contest, it’s a challenge—and the stakes are higher.”
She uncrossed her arms. “How high?”
“At the end of this I’m going to fuck you.” He slinked closer in his prowling-panther way of moving. “How I do that is up to you. Either you get to fight me off, put up your best resistance, or I own you and you do exactly as I say. If you win, you get to choose how it happens.”
Charlize took a breath then reminded herself to breathe out. Told her hands not to shake at her sides.
“But if you fail, I’ll take you how I want.”
How he wants? Her body rushed with adrenaline. Part of her wanted to lose just to see which option turned him on. She wanted him rough. As impolite as that might be, as much as it fell outside what she’d done before, she acknowledged the desire—but this was different. This was saying it out loud. This was conscious choice, deliberate. This was agreeing to some kind of kinky role-play. None of which she could bring herself to accept.
“How the fuck is there a win for me in that?”
He closed the distance, made her look up at him, made her breathe in the scent of his clean body. “Because it’s what you want, kitten. But you’ve got to admit it.”
Her tongue fumbled in her mouth, which had apparently found new saliva glands. The idea of fighting him off sounded hot all right, but she couldn’t do that. Not with memories of the parking lot so raw.
But if he wanted to challenge her, then he could be challenged too. With something equally as hot. “Instead of the fighting, the other option is you do as I say.”
“You want to bargain for that? Sounds less fun to me.” He stepped back and positioned himself two feet in front of her. “Let’s get started.” He ran her through exercise after exercise. Showed her the vulnerable places on the body to target, how to sneak a hit to the throat before an attacker saw it coming. How to break every kind of hold, but more importantly he showed her how to look around. How to stop the world from closing in and see the things around her, things she could use to protect herself.
Her muscles ached by the end but she knew she had this.
“You been paying attention, kitten?” Connor asked.
“Does it look as if I’ve fallen asleep?”
He grasped her wrists. “You mean like you did last night? You’re going to pay for that you know. I’m still aching.”
“Only if I fail,” she whispered and twisted her arms free. “So was that score one for me?”
He chuckled and laugh lines dimpled his cheeks. “Sure. Are you ready for the next one?”
She nodded and stepped from foot to foot. He had her ducking, twisting and even landing a hit to his “vulnerable” place. Not that he reacted—the bastard. She was ready to savor the sweetness of victory when he caught her from behind, twisted his fist in her hair.
Breath evaporated from her chest. Fear streaked through her limbs. The imagined smell of tobacco tingled in her nose.
“Breathe, baby,” he whispered and air rushed back into her lungs.
Charlize slammed her heel into his foot, her elbow into his stomach and twisted—breaking the grip on her hair. She dropped to the floor and rolled out of reach.
Connor pursued with his slow, confident swagger. “Congratulations, you did well. So what is it, baby? Am I yours to command?” He tucked up the legs of his sweatpants and crouched in front of her. “Or are you mine?”

Sweet, innocent Ophelia–she wants nothing more than to marry Hamlet Elsinore. But what does a simple virgin know about pleasing a man like the sophisticated and charming Hamlet? Not a whole lot, but when her seductive roommate, Portia, learns of Ophelia’s interest, she gets Horatio to “teach” the innocent girl everything she’ll need to know to seduce his best friend, Hamlet.

Set in modern day, this prequel to Hamlet is steamy enough to have even the Bard blushing! Enjoy this first book of Literotica in the Naughty Shakespeare series.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt
“There’s a difference between flirting and sex.”
“Are you sure?” Horatio moved to her, his gaze intense, as he tucked a stray ringlet of her dark hair behind her ear. “Why don’t we find out?”
“But–“
“Portia, you can go now.” He cut off her protests, but never took his eyes off Ophelia. “Come back in a few hours.”
“Have fun!” Portia winked at Ophelia. “You look fabulous.”
The click of the door behind her best friend caused Ophelia jump.
Could she do this? Should she do this? It was one thing to want to learn the art of sex to please the man you loved–even if he didn’t really see her like that yet–but another altogether to be seduced by his best friend.
And could she even claim seduction? After all, she was a willing party. She’d gone along with Portia’s plan without much thought.
Anything that would make her better for Hamlet.
“I didn’t know it would be you.” Ophelia swallowed hard. “I assumed it would one of Portia’s ex-lovers.”
“And who’s to say I’m not one of those?” Horatio laughed lightly. “Would you like a drink?”
He gestured to the champagne Portia had prepared for them, and without waiting for her answer, went to it. He popped the cork with expertise, filled their glasses and handed one to her.
“To you, Ophelia,” he said, raising his glass. “To the woman you are about to unleash.”
She drank deeply, letting the bubbles tickle her throat, letting the warmth of it relax her.
“Come here.” Horatio took her hand and led her to the mirror. “I want to show you something.”
He twirled her so she could see herself in the wide mirror on the wall above the couch.
“You are gorgeous.” Horatio stood behind her, barely pressing against her back. He sipped from his champagne glass. “Have you ever really looked at yourself?”
“No,” she whispered and to avoid doing so any longer, Ophelia drained the rest of her glass of champagne. “It’s not right to think about yourself like that. Very vain.”
“Who told you that?”
“My father, maybe my brother.”
“They were fools, afraid of the power you represent as a woman.”
“What do you mean?”
“You have everything a man wants.” His voice rumbled as he wrapped an arm around her and placed his hand over her heart. “We want this.”
She could feel him pressed harder against her, could feel his breath tickle her neck.
“And we want this.” He moved his hand to rest on her crotch. “Your heart and your desire. That’s what we want. Fathers and brothers don’t like seeing it in their sisters and daughters. It reminds them of the sexual animal inside all men.”
He dropped his hand, but didn’t move away from her. For a long moment, their eyes met in the mirror. Then Horatio stepped back just far enough to put down his glass of champagne.
He placed both hands on her shoulders.
“Let’s begin.”
AN EPIC LOVE STORY
If you don’t believe me, I encourage you to pick up any of the 20 + COWBOY HOTTIE stories she’s written and see for yourself that all her alpha’s are nothing but LUST BROUGHT TO LIFE THRU HER MAGIC PEN. From all those stubborn McKays to the more ‘organic’ ones from Muddy Gap, WY, all her books are nothing less than memorable masterpieces. I k ow this for a fact cause I’ve read them ALL.
Of course this book, although way far from her well known western romances, brings to all her loyal fans the touch that nobody else but herself can deliver in such a clever way. ‘Bound’, is set to be one of those books that you read a few times before deciding that you must read it AGAIN for the last time (in the same calendar year) and then buy in every format possible just so you can have an option of reading it again if you ever feel like it.
I must applaud Mrs James’s superb skills and courage of diving nose deep into a new genre, that although follows the basic principles of contemporary romance, digs with a very strong knowledge a much more complex topic like the ancient Japanese arts of Shibari and Kinbaku, in a way so easy to understand and follow you can almost feel the ropes on your skin. All of what you thought you knew about bondage is about to be thrown out the window with the first demonstration you’ll receive from Master Black.
Once again Mrs. James leaves me speechless. Not only she sketched a remarkable and very believable struggling love story, she made each character as unique as possible. She most definetely has allowed me to find my dream ninja, which I could only picture in so many of the manga comics I’ve read my whole life, but with a more naughtier strike <3
